The Parrot won’t talk grabbed me from the very beginning and never go. It’s fast and smart and impossible to predict. Every twist hit like a punch and just when I thought I had the truth in my hands, the story spun into another direction. The ending? Chefs Kiss, dark, brilliant and exactly what I didn’t know I needed. If I could give it six stars I would without hesitation.
This is a delightful book with an intriguing storyline. Our family enjoyed reading this book together. We were anxious to find out if Charlie could help the Genie find his body and each task he had to complete successfully was more and more suspenseful. This book is fun because it is so creatively written. It is also a fun glimpse into the British lifestyle and dialect. You feel like you are right there in England with Charlie.
